OVERVIEW

Compete to Create is a course created by Dr. Michael Gervais and Coach Pete Carroll that provided life coaching advice and mindfulness practice. They needed a rebuild of the platform based in React while also updating the visuals of Compete to Create.

STYLE EXPLORATION

The client had asked us to explore what the evolved look of Compete to Create's learning platform. I explored brand and variations of brand expression in the photography, user interface, and graphic treatments.

COMPONENT LIBRARY

We worked to establish the UI library to make the design process of the platform as seamless as possible with development. Components were checked and communicated so that it can be fully realized in React.

WEB APP

The goal of the design was to serve up the education content with little distraction while also retaining the voice of the Compete to Create aesthetic. Throughout the process, we tackled design issues with registration flows, tracking user progress, and variability of classes. In the end, we streamlined the process for the user from payment to class registration.
