IMPOSTOR
SYNDROME

OVERVIEW

Impostor Syndrome is a campaign designed to create outreach to those feeling impostor syndrome within their career or school. Our research led to a solution that combines physical exhibit, social media, and a digital website.

VISUAL SYSTEM

The visuals are based within a geometric and grid-like language to convey the dense information the campaign carried forth. In addition the icon system, colors, and anthropomorphized logotype add the human aspect in how one should tackle impostor syndrome.

WEBSITE

The website provides a platform for people who are in an area that the exhibit is not in to find out more about Impostor's mission and to find coping methods for themselves. Also it serves as a link to the social media campaign, creating a method for people to find a community.

TAKEAWAY CARD

The card slide out calls on people to write down their own insecurities to share on social media. Each card details out a type of impostor and the traits they each hold.

INTERACTIVE POSTERS

A series of posters that each correspond with a type of impostor syndrome feeling. Each poster invites the viewer to interact physical, whether that be to draw a perfect circle, solve a riddle, or even play tic tac toe.

We ask the audience to take a sticker that corresponds with each type and to put it on the Reflect Poster, showing how other people feel as impostors.
